Standing Together as a Community
As we approach the end of the year, our hearts are with those affected by the recent tragedy in Tai Po. We hope you and your families are safe and well during this difficult time. At AISHK, we believe that community is our greatest strength. In light of recent events, we are reframing our end-of-year initiatives to ensure they reflect care, compassion, and meaningful support. Together, we can make a difference.
Please see below two sections:
Our overall AISHK Tai Po Relief Campaign – supporting critical needs across Hong Kong.
Jingle Mingle for Good – a festive community event with purpose.
AISHK Tai Po Relief Campaign: How You Can Help
AISHK has launched a campaign to support different areas of need in response to this tragedy. Our approach is intended to be flexibility so resources can be activated where they are most needed as the situation continues to evolve. Please see below for details on our campaign and how you can get involved.
Monetary Support | Hong Kong Red Cross
AISHK has chosen to support Hong Kong Red Cross, which is providing psychological support, blood donations and emergency relief to those in need. Your donation will help the Red Cross to allocate funds where they are most needed as the situation evolves.
Feeding Hong Kong | Non-Perishable Food Drive
Support Feeding Hong Kong by donating non-perishable items for families in need.
Focus on long-dated food donations: Feeding Hong Kong kindly ask to concentrate on quick, ready-to-eat items like crackers, biscuits, cup noodles, instant soup, breakfast cereal and UHT milk essential for those who need quick, no-cook options. Long-dated food items, such as rice, canned goods, and other packaged, shelf-stable products will be essential for families in the weeks and months ahead as they begin to recover. At this stage please do not donate fresh or frozen food items.
Drop-off point starting Monday 1 December: 2F Atrium (near the Artist-in-Residence display) starting Monday 1 December.
At Jingle Mingle on the Field: Look for the Feeding Hong Kong Christmas Tree on the field should you wish to bring your donations to the event.Â
Hong Kong Sheung Kung Hui Welfare Council (SKHWC)
A condolence book will be available at the school entrance and at Jingle Mingle for messages of support.
A Christmas Card Station at Jingle Mingle will allow students, staff, and parents to write notes of goodwill to emergency workers and volunteers. These cards are upcycled from existing AISHK stock to ensure financial and environmental sustainability. All messages will be delivered to the Hong Kong Sheung Kung Hui Welfare Council (SKHWC), which is working directly with affected communities in Tai Po.
Jingle Mingle for Good | Event Arrangements

Wednesday, 10 December, 4-7pm | AISHK Field
All profits and income from this event will go directly to support the AISHK Tai Po Relief Campaign, helping those most affected by recent events.
We know how much this event means to our community, and we believe it is still important to gather for this much-loved tradition. This year’s Jingle Mingle will be more than a celebration. It will be a chance to come together as a community and show our support for those in need. Your presence matters, and your participation will help make this event a beacon of hope and solidarity.
AISHK Jingle Mingle is our annual gathering to mark the end of the school year before the holiday break. There is something for everyone from food and beverage, student-led activities, photo booth and student performances.

Can You Lend a Hand? – Many Hands Make Light Work!
Our community events cannot run smoothly without the generous support of time being volunteered by our parents and friends. There are numerous opportunities throughout the evening, from flipping snags and onions on the barbie, to pouring a crisp cold beer at the bar. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
Baked Goods Stall:
It’s a most scrumptious time of the year! Please donate to our Jingle Mingle Bake Sale. Find details and instructions in our signup form below.
Promote Your Parent-Run Business | Jingle Mingle Stalls:
