Secondary Students Excel in Australian Mathematics Competition and ICAS Assessments

Congratulations to our students for their exceptional achievements in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) and the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS).
Australian Mathematics Competition
Year 7 student, Caden Ng, earned the rare Prize Award, presented to the next highest-ranking students nationwide. This is awarded to those who score just below a perfect score, placing them in the Top 0.3%–0.6% of all participants - an extraordinary accomplishment!
Year 9 students Thomas Pulsford and Ethan Chui, achieved High Distinction, ranking in the Top 3% nationally.
ICAS Assessments
The International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) is a globally recognized program that assesses students’ skills in core academic areas such as English, Science, Mathematics and Digital Technologies. ICAS challenges students to apply higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills, providing valuable insights into their learning progress and academic strengths.
Across Years 7–9, students demonstrated excellence in these assessments:
3 students achieved High Distinction, awarded to students who perform in the Top 1% of participants in their year level for that subject.
10 students achieved Distinction, putting them into the Top 10% of participants
21 students achieved Credit, putting them into the Top 25% of participants
