AISHK celebrated Harmony Day on the 18 March 2026. Harmony Day is a celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds.
Orange, the official colour of Harmony Day, symbolises inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
To mark the occasion, students and staff wore a touch of orange, from accessories and socks to shoes, showing their support for the values that help build stronger, more connected communities.
During the Secondary Assembly Head of the Secondary school Mr Phillips talked about the purpose and importance of the day. The prefects showed a video in which they interviewed staff who shared information about their diverse backgrounds and cultures.
