Another active week has taken place at AISHK as we reach the mid-point of Term 2.
I take this opportunity to remind parents of communication sent this week, regarding the 2023 Parent Survey, taking place from Monday 22 May. All parents will receive access links to the survey, facilitated by company MMG Education. I thank parents in advance for taking the time to complete this questionnaire. Your views and contributions will provide valuable insight into how we will continue to strive to best serve our school community.
On Monday and Thursday of this week AISHK held two successful open mornings for parents of primary and secondary students. The purpose of these sessions, which have not been possible in recent years due to pandemic-related restrictions, were to provide a glimpse into secondary schooling at AISHK. With presentations by staff students and parents, along with a school tour to view secondary school in session, attendees were provided with a comprehensive view of Years 7-12 at AISHK. Thank you to all attendees and participants for your support. Please click here to view a further recap of these events.
At AISHK, we place great importance on the value of student voice. Testament to this is the progress taking place in a review of some uniform items, in response to feedback from students. Practical, realistic and helpful adjustments are being made to some aspects of the school uniform and I look forward to updating parents on these changes in the coming weeks.
With respect,
Mina
