After a long break, it is great to be back at school and settling into routines again. A very warm welcome to our new Primary families joining us – we hope your child has enjoyed their first week. It is also wonderful to welcome back our returning students who have been away for the term. Everyone has settled in well and we were pleased to have many of our students and staff who travelled over the break return safely to Hong Kong.
We are excited about the term ahead and looking forward to varied events taking place. On the schedule we have assemblies, excursions, student-led conferences, ECAs, Book Week, swimming for Prep-Year 2 and Years 5 and 6 (Years 3 and 4 will swim in early Term 4) and, hopefully, we will finish off our Year 3 camp (the third attempt!).
It is very welcome news that we now have Years 3, 5 and 6 able to eat in their classrooms (for packed lunches) due to the 90 percent vaccination rate in those year levels. We have some other year levels very close to the 90 percent threshold as well, so if you have not registered your child’s vaccination records with on TASS, please click here to do so.
A reminder that for those interested, we have Kirra Pendergast returning from Safe on Social running a parent presentation on gaming and social media via Zoom on Thursday August 11. Parents have the option of coming on to campus to view the presentantion or Zooming in for this presentation. Please click here if you are interested in attending.
We are looking forward to a wonderful Term 3 on campus.
