On this last day of the 2021 school year, I would like to wish all our Secondary families the happiest of Christmases and it goes without saying that we’re all hoping for better and more normal times in 2022. If you’re travelling over the holiday period, and are affected by any changes to quarantine rules, please update the Secondary office. Should your return date to AISHK now be later than 19th January – our first day of the new school year – we will ensure that your child is able to connect with their subject teachers and keep on track with their learning.
Thank you and congratulations to all Secondary students on their achievements this year. Much great work has been accomplished despite the ongoing challenging circumstances and there has been an upbeat mood around campus in the final days of term, including at yesterday’s Speech Day. Farewell and good luck to all Secondary students leaving AISHK at the end of this year – you will always be part of the AISHK family and we look forward to seeing you back on campus as alumni in the future.
Many thanks to the Secondary teachers and support staff for their passion and dedication to their students; you have all definitely earned this upcoming holiday and the keenly anticipated downtime with family and friends. Adieu to staff who are departing AISHK, and we look forward to welcoming our new teachers in January. Finally, thank you to our Secondary parents and families for your unwavering support and guidance of your children and their education, especially through these tough times.
Whatever your beliefs, Christmas is a time for families and friends to come together and be grateful for what we have. As evidenced by the buoyant atmosphere at the festive picnic last Friday, we are all privileged to be part of the wonderful AISHK community and we have much more to look forward to in 2022. From my family to yours, I wish you the very best for this holiday season.
