AISHK was proud to host the Year 12 HSC and IB Exhibition in the Auditorium at the start of term. Despite the challenges of Covid, reduced studio time and last-minute typhoons, the visual arts seniors put together an amazing exhibition that showcased their incredible talent and dedication to their craft.
Featuring the work of Hannah Abrahamian, Alison Ho, Bryan Kwan, Libby Tsui, Ethan Ward, Michelle Yung and Vivian Zhou the exhibition highlighted a variety of media from traditional two-dimensional forms such as painting, drawing and printmaking, as well as sculptural forms and digital arts. Ethan Ward also created an installation experience in Room 704 combining multimedia and projection mapping techniques with his sculpture and paintings.
The seniors were also fortunate this year to present their work at the Valedictorian dinner to celebrate their achievements with peers and parents.
A huge thanks this year to Claire Lo, Justina Dear and the TAS and Facilities team for all of the hard work and logistics that went into one of our largest shows in recent years, as well as the Year 11 students who came in during the holidays to assist with set up as part of a new art student mentorship programme.
Congratulations to our Year 12 students for an amazing show.
