[Head of Primary] Term 2 Week 10 Message

After a challenging start to the school year with the blended half day on campus and online learning, it has been a truly wonderful finish to the first half of the semester with all students on campus. The last month of full days with everyone on campus has created the buzz of energy that we associate with schools. The feeling amongst the community is we are moving in the right direction with more opportunities for students and more opportunities for parents to be involved in their child’s learning. I am incredibly excited about Term 3 and what it will look like for students. It has the making of a great term at AISHK!

You are now able to access your child’s school report for Semester 1. We have created a new format and design for the report to make it easier for parents to read. Please take the time to look at child’s report and you may like to share it with your child as well. If you have any questions about the report, you are encouraged to contact your child’s teacher after the holidays.

I would like to say farewell to Ben Picker (4P) and Jo Spencer (PDHPE) for their service to the Primary Division. Ben and Jo have both had a very positive impact at AISHK and they are going to be missed by students, teachers and parents alike. We wish them all the very best in the future and we know they will leave AISHK with fond memories of this community. To the students who are leaving us today, we wish them all the best in their new school. For those students, you are now always a part of AISHK and that will never change.

I wish everyone a relaxing and enjoyable break and hope that families manage to find time together.
