After participating in the Bora Bora and United Kingdom legs of the HKPSSA Cross Country Challenge (dubbed ‘Across Country’), many of our keen students and parents have been clocking up kilometres for AISHK. Our numbers were not the best for last week’s event, however the timing was not great with CNY. Congratulations to our students and parents who represented AISHK. Please see the results on the HKPSSA website which includes a school leader board and individual leader boards: https://individuals.hkpssa.org/individual-events/cross-country-challenge
Challenge #3: The HONG KONG Challenge
The Hong Kong Challenge, which runs from Monday 1 March through to Sunday 7 March, 2021, will be our big event. This time we have ‘upped the anti’ on our Primary classes, with an internal class vs class challenge. There will be a ‘virtual title’ for the class that clocks up the most kilometres in each year group, and an overall ‘virtual title’ for top class. Parents can contribute as well.
It is very simple to get involved. The event encourages students, parents and staff to get out and run as many kilometres over the week (1-7 March). They then simply fill out the entry form below at the end of the week. It’s not about speed so walking and jogging is also okay. Some may even want to try clocking up some kilometres inside or on their building stairwells. The distances will all be collated as a school and added to the new HKPSSA website.
To enter the Hong Kong Challenge, please complete this form by the end of Monday 8 March: The HONG KONG CHALLENGE Entry Form.
Reminder, there’s only one more challenge left this term:
- The New Zealand Challenge: 15-21 March
