[Notice] Exam Invigilators Needed

Each year, our school employs parents and/or community members to act as exam invigilators, both for our internal exams for senior students, and the external HSC and IB exams that take place in October-November. The first block of exams for 2021 are the Year 12 half-yearly examinations, scheduled for 16-23 April.

With planning for these exams underway, we invite expressions of interest from any parents or community members who would like to act as exam invigilators in 2021. Other times in the year when invigilators are required are August (Year 12 trial exams), September (Year 11 exams) and October-November (HSC and IB final exams). Individuals acting as exam invigilators are paid a casual, hourly rate and exams are held within normal school hours.

Additionally, we are seeking to appoint a school Examinations Supervisor, who will be employed by the school to coordinate and administer all school exams. Part of this role involves being the official Presiding Officer for the HSC exams, reporting directly to the NSW Education Standards Authority. The Examinations Supervisor also coordinates the invigilation rosters for each exam block.

If you have an interest in either of these roles, please email the Deputy Head of Secondary, Mr Peter Phillips (peter_phillips@aishk.edu.hk). Role descriptions and further details are available on request.
