Book Week-Week 7, Term 3
The Book Week theme this year is Creative Creatures, Wild Minds. Book Week will be celebrated in Week 7, Term 3.
Book Week is run by the Australian Children’s Book Council and celebrates outstanding books for children. It encourages children of all ages to consider how significant books can be, not only as a means of entertainment and escape, but as a way of informing their understanding of the world around us.
This year, Secondary will join us again in some of our Book Week celebrations. At this stage, the Book Week Parade, Early Childhood Assembly and Primary Assembly will be held on Tuesday 1 September; further details and ideas will follow closer to the date.
Wishing you all a happy and safe holiday.
