As the year rapidly draws to a close many members of our community; students, parents and staff, will be leaving our school and Hong Kong over the next few weeks.
I’d like to thank all of these families who are leaving us for choosing to be part of our wonderful school. I wish you all the very best of luck with your move and hope that you will be very happy in your next adventure. If you ever wish to return to Hong Kong we would love to have you back at AISHK. I hope that you leave with very happy memories of your time at AISHK, have made life long friends and will always remember us fondly.
We also farewell some members of our teaching staff. From Primary, Matthew Price, Carl Ohlson, Sue Blumenthal and Rachel Austin. From Secondary, Meg Rowe, Nicole Voss, Robert White, Joe Wilson, Nikelle Gordon, Drew Skellern and Chris McCorkell. We thank them for all their time at AISHK, ranging from one year to 23 years, and wish them all the very best as they take on new opportunities across the world.
For those returning parents, rest assured that the school is in an excellent position with student enrolment for 2020, exceeding the 2019 enrolment in both Primary and Secondary.
Thank you to those parents and families who supported Jingle and Mingle last night. Despite the weather, we had a fantastic crowd in attendance and there was a very positive, happy and festive vibe for the event. Well done to everyone who contributed in so many ways. It was so great to end the year on such a high note.
With two and a half days of school left, I hope you all enjoy the last few days and I look forward to seeing many of you at the Primary and Secondary Speech Day ceremonies on Tuesday.
