A warm welcome back to Term 4 from the Library, we hope you had a lovely holiday. We have purchased some new books over the break which are now available for borrowing. If you would like to view/search the Library collection, please visit

Library Lessons

This term the Primary Library lessons will focus on the continued development of information literacy. The skills will be taught in collaboration with units of work on Geography with Prep, Year 1, Year 3 and Year 4 and Science with Year 2. All Early Childhood students will develop their understanding of the Aboriginal people of Australia through these units of work. Year 5 and Year 6 will focus on Economics and Business as part of the Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) Curriculum. In collaboration with Secondary, we are aiming to involve Year 9 Commerce students and Year 11 Business students in the lessons where possible.

Chinese Reading at Lunchtime

The first session of the Chinese Lunchtime Reading Program for Prep-Year 6 students was a huge success! Early Childhood enjoyed ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and Years 3-6 had fun with the text ‘No, David!’. We look forward to welcoming students to the Library each Friday to relax and enjoy Chinese Story Time.
