2019 Secondary Swimming Carnival

The Secondary Swimming Carnival was held at Kowloon Tsai aquatic complex on Thursday 5 September. Despite the threat of thunderstorms and rain, the day went ahead with many swimmers showcasing their ability and enthusiasm!

Several long-standing records were broken on the day. An absolute standout performance came from Year 7 and Eucalypt student Aavni Ahuja who broke records in the Under 12s Girls 400m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle, 50m Freestyle, 50m Butterfly and 50m Breaststroke!

Other records broken were:

Elodi Mak – Under 14 Girls 400m Freestyle and 100m Freestyle

Alicia Chan – Under 12 Girls 50m Backstroke

Lorraine Tang – Under 16 Girls 50m Freestyle

Ella Fraser – Opens 50m Breaststroke

House points on the day went to Wattle, followed by Waratah, Jacaranda and Eucalypt.
