On 28 August, Euclaypt house banded together to bring us the most successful Euca Mufti Day to date.
AISHK was turned into a “Jungle Safari” as monkeys, lions, and safari guides enjoyed delicious baked goods and some tasty sausage sandwiches. As always, our charity of choice was the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation, and I am proud to announce that this year we raised just over $30,000, a fantastic effort!
Thank you to all of the students who pitched in on the day to help out, especially our Year 6 and Year 12 house captains. A special thank you to our Euca parents who donated some amazing baked goods and snacks, as well as the parents who helped with cooking the BBQ. Cooking and preparing 700 sausage sandwiches in under an hour is not easy, and your time is very much appreciated!
Finally a big thank you to Kitty Wong – her tireless efforts during every house’s mufti day do not go unnoticed and the days run smoother thanks to her dynamism. We are all looking forward to an even bigger and better Euca Mufti Day in 2020.
