Secondary Swimming Carnival 2018

On Thursday 6 September Kowloon Tsai Pool played host to the AISHK Secondary Swimming carnival.

The day started with the eager 400m swimmers competing before the remainder of the secondary school had arrived.  The 400m events were followed by a mass swim which was well received as the temperature was high, this swim also provided many swimmers the chance to warm up before their races.  Many students swam in up to 6 races during the day with all students swimming a 50m freestyle race and being involved in an Aussie Pool Pets Novelty relay.  There were many personal bests achieved and 11 school records broken; these records can be seen in the table below.   All swimmers who represented their house by swimming or supporting made the carnival a very successful day.  Congratulations to all Age Group Champions who performed strongly in all their races.  Wattle House was the convincing winner of the Swimming Carnival for 2018.
