The China Coast Community (CCC) is a nursing Home that provides care and attention for English-speaking elderly people in Hong Kong. Located just a stone’s throw away from AISHK, it is a home full of untold stories and history waiting to be discovered.
This term, students from years 3-4 will have the opportunity to join the secondary students in making weekly visits to the CCC Home. The primary SRC will assist the participating students in preparing for these visits.
The visits will occur on Tuesday afternoons (3:30pm – 4:30pm) from weeks 4 to 8 of Term 3. Students will walk to the CCC Home, accompanied by myself and some secondary students. After we finish up we will all walk back to school for pick up. This is a free after school activity.
Since the CCC home cannot cater for large groups, only 5 primary students will be able to attend per visit. The first round of registration is now open for Years 3-4. To avoid disappointment, it is advised to register as soon as possible. Any unfilled positions will be open for other primary year groups.
Parents will receive an email with an online registration form at the end of this week. Parents can also email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for any queries.
