Seams of a New Era is back! Our annual student-run charity fashion show for the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation (CNCF) is making its comeback in February 2019. Next year’s theme is Radiance and what you can expect from the show is as follows: An amalgamation of the Wes Anderson aesthetic, the liminal space of dusk and dawn, and the avant-garde architecture inspired by the concept of dawning light and new hopes.
On the evening of Saturday 23 February, 2019, our runway will be graced by the creative designs of our students and other Hong Kong based designers. These designs will be worn proudly by fierce models sashaying their way down the catwalk. The warm hues of the lighting will illuminate the awe-inspiring works of the best and brightest young aspiring designers, so get your creative hats on!
By now, an email has been sent to all Secondary students for those interested in signing up to be:
- Press Team/Volunteers
Even though the show is set for 2019, we have a few things happening this term in 2018. Firstly, we will be holding a Design Week, which will include a bake sale to raise more funds for CNCF. Secondly, there will be a design workshop for anyone who would like to hone their creative skills or potentially design something for our show. All in all, this is done to create a more supportive and constructive environment.
Make sure to stay tuned as there will be more information available very soon.
So, to all young designers and models of AISHK; check your emails and sign up to showcase your talents!
