After a restful weekend following our return from Beijing, students are well and truly settled back into their normal groove. Invitations will soon be going home for our Year Six Graduation Party which has this year adopted a ‘Feel the Glow’ theme. This was a very popular theme voted on by all students in Year Six so we’re sure that they will have some great ideas for costumes that they can wear on the night.
Students have been reminded that as of Monday we will be back in our winter uniform. This means that boys will need to wear their ties to school and all students should be bringing their blazers on a daily basis. We are delighted that students took such pride in wearing their Beijing T-Shirts whilst we were away and they are now invited to wear them for our weekly Sport lessons should they wish to.
Students are all very excited about next week’s Swimming Carnival and will meet with their houses next week to discuss the arrangements. Best of luck to our Year Six swimmers!
Beijing Memories
What a wonderful week we had in Beijing taking in local cultural sites such as the Temple of Heaven and trying famous Beijing delicacies such as Peking Duck. Students have now begun work on their Beijing projects which they will look forward to sharing with you later in the term. Until then, here are a few highlights of our great week in Beijing!
