AISA Swimming Report

We took a strong team to Jakarta to compete against Singapore, Indonesia (Bali/Jakarta) and Vietnam. Competition in the pool was fierce but our swimmers stood their ground and showed the other schools why we are still the best Australian International School in Asia. Our boys won first place while the girls placed second. After all points were calculated, AISHK placed first and Singapore came second. It was a great effort considering a number of our swimmers were playing other sports at the same time as swimming was on so it became a juggling act. A big thank you goes out to Ella Rowe and Edwina Sze who volunteered to swim for us because Kaitlyn Buffon and Sally Howell were required to attend prefect camp. The points you secured for the team helped us secure first place. Next year, AISA will be held in Sharjah, UAE.
