A “clean sweep” in Clean Half Marathon for AISHK Swimmers

Seven AISHK students participated in Saturday’s iconic 15km Clean Half marathon swim from Stanley to Deep Water Bay, now often spoken of as one of the great open water races of the world. It was run in very rough conditions against the prevailing currents and winds, but this didn’t phase our swimmers, who completed a ‘clean sweep’ of the three major categories: solo, duo, and teams.

The team of Henry and William Phillis, Connor McGrath, Ryan Phillips and Sam Thorley were the overall winning team; Temana Short and his partner were the winning duo, while Bill Thorley was the winning solo swimmer (swimming the entire 15km).
