Singin’ in the Rain – AISHK students take the stage

Congratulations to Rohana Utamchandani (9E) who has successfully secured a lead role in the upcoming musical production of Singin’ in the Rain

Rohana will play the character Kathy Seldon in the musical, produced by Face Productions, a performing arts training programme that allows people to take part in theatre shows, dance and singing ensemble performances in order to develop their potential as a performing artist.

Rohana is more than prepared for this major production, having also performed in My Fair Lady through the singing ensemble earlier this year, at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts theatre in June

Congratulations also to AISHK students Arabella Pahl, Scarlett Pahl and Maeve Collis will be performing in the production through the ensemble.

There will be two performances of Singin’ in the Rain taking place on 20 and 21 January 2018, at the Chai Wan theatre.

Singin’ in the Rain, a romance musical set in the late 1920’s Hollywood Broadway, follows the story of two actors whose careers are changed when movies transition from being silent to having sound. It is a humorous musical with lots of great songs and dances you are sure to enjoy!

Well done to all students and best of luck from all of us at AISHK!
