Despite the heavy rain, around 100 guests attended the AISHK Open Day on Wednesday 21 June.
The auditorium welcomed 5 groups of attendees who enjoyed a presentation by Mr West and Mr Shirley, followed by a student-led tour of the School, and concluding with the opportunity to speak with the Admissions Team and current AISHK parents over morning tea.
Primary and secondary students did an outstanding job of stewarding the guests around our School and sharing their insights with prospective parents, all of whom were delighted to learn more about a day in the life of AISHK from a student perspective. Students displayed great leadership through their role as fitting ambassadors for our dynamic learning environment. Positive feedback came through swiftly from attendees who were extremely impressed with the confidence, eloquence and friendliness of their student tour guides.
Thanks must go to all staff, students and members of the Parent Association who contributed in many ways to the Open Day – a key opportunity to share all that AISHK has to offer with the wider community.
