This year the performing arts department has launched an exciting new program – the AISHK Instrumental Introductory Scheme.
This scheme provides an opportunity for students of all ages to try three different musical instruments during one term. The students receive two private lessons on each instrument. Students are able to loan each instrument from the school for two weeks and can take the instrument home between the two lessons. For 2017 we are offering the scheme in Terms 2 and 4. Applications for Term 4 are now open.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to try a variety of instruments and to help both students and their parents to decide on which musical instrument to learn. Feedback received from the teachers will help parents and students to consider which instrument could potentially suit them, and it gives a chance for the students to see how they feel about different instruments.
