This week as an introduction to Mandatory Technology, Mrs Morley’s Year 7 and 8 students have been learning some key terms and definitions for Design and Technology. With an understanding of terms such as aesthetic and functional design, resources and the design process, students were then challenged to produce an outfit suitable for the races or an evening cocktail party and demonstrate the concepts on their outfits. Here are some of their very creative and original rapid designs.
Design students in Years 11 and 12 visited Sham Shui Po to investigate sourcing for their major and minor design projects.
