Wakka Wakka Talent Show

This year’s Wakka Wakka Talent show hosted by Waratah and Wattle House Captains saw eleven performances that showcased the amazing talent across the Primary Division. It was jam-packed with entertaining, creative and awesome acts.

Ethan Leung kicked off the show with his mind-blowing magic and left us wondering how on earth he made that giant straw appear! Matilda Batman rocked it out to Bon Jovi on drums and impressed us all with her big beats. Sisters Amelia and Elizabeth Lai joined Jasmine Wong to perform a highly entertaining musical act. Next, we were wowed by the dynamic gymnastic duo of Sarah Cunningham and Rachael McIver. Matilda Dear followed showing off her musical theatre talent by singing Naughty from Matilda the musical. Third Harmony which comprised of Elke Chaplin, Naoise Breeze and Isabella Lai sang their hearts out to a popular hit. Ella Dong was mesmerising and magnificently graceful as she danced her own original contemporary choreography. The Uke-ladies, Kristen Li and Trisha Chan, had the crowd singing along to their version of I’m Yours by Jason Mraz. Madeline Adam and Ella Holmes combined dance and gymnastics in their divine routine. Our second last performance was the one and only Tiarnan Breeze who entertained us all with his country tunes. Last but not least Maia McGunnigle and Holly Bongiorno had the crowd up on their feet for fitness, in an aerobics routine!

Our judges Ms McDonald, Ms Ho and Bastian Buwalda from Year 6 had a very difficult time deciding on the awards as all the performers were wonderful.
