Technology in the Classroom (Part 2) : Bluebots and Coding

As part of our two week focus on Technology in the Classroom, this week we take a look at our students' new robotic friends. The video below features Ms Simone Nielsen, Head of Early Childhood, who explains the use of Blue Bots.

The Blue Bot devices serve as an introduction to the fundamental paradigms of programming. Used in conjunction with classroom activities, and more advanced apps in later years, students are taught concepts like algorithms and de-bugging in practical scenarios. The design of the devices also allows inquisitive minds to explore common electronic parts such as printed circuit boards, motors and batteries.

This approach and philosophy has been supported by the AISHK Parent Association, whose contributions have allowed steady learning and facility enhancements in and around AISHK.
