The 14th Annual Team Fear Adventure Race at Discovery Bay

Sunday 29 November saw 16 AISHK students take part in the 14th Annual Team Fear Adventure Race on Discovery Bay.

The race is open to children aged between 8-18 years old. It is a test of endurance, speed, determination and perseverance. Each age group competes as a team of two or three and must pass through each check point together and finish together. Teams are required to solve riddles, kayak, bike ride, abseil, swim, run and scramble up gorges.

Discovery Bay was at its best with 700 kids competing and 315 parents positioned over the course as marshals. Teams took between two to four hours to finish the race with distances of 11-16km being covered.

All money raised goes towards 'Youth Outreach', a charity set up to assist Hong Kong's youth to make the right choices and take steps to achieving their dreams.

Next year's race will be the 15th in the series and the race organisers are promising even more new challenges for the entrants.

Congratulations to all those who took up the challenge and we hope to see more of you out on the course in November 2016.
