|A Message from Phillip Waugh | Head of School|
As Term 2 draws to an end, on behalf of the school I would like to acknowledge the contribution of Dr Ken Thorley to the AISHK Swimming Program.
Dr Thorley recently advised our school that as of the end of next week, he will be stepping down from his role in managing the AISHK Swimming Program. There is no doubt the AISHK Swimming Program has progressed enormously during the past four years primarily because of Dr Thorley's drive and enthusiasm. Our students have excelled in a variety of swimming competitions both here in Hong Kong and abroad, and much of the credit for this success is due to the efforts of Dr Thorley during his time with us.
I am sure the entire AISHK community will join me in thanking Dr Thorley for his service to this school and wish him all the best for the future.
We are pleased to announce that Harry Wright International Swimming School will provide coaching for our swim squads from the commencement of next term. All students currently undertaking swimming training in the various AISHK swim squads will be notified by e-mail regarding the training arrangements which will apply from Term 3.
